Information we process

We process information you provide, such as your name, email, telephone, account details, order items, recipient details, delivery address and card message. Please share recipient information only for arranging the gift and delivery. The website also uses essential session cookies and technical records, such as IP address and browser information, for the cart, login, security and troubleshooting.

Optional Google sign-in

If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides your basic profile: name, email address, Google account identifier and available profile picture. We use this information to create or connect your Medusa account and authenticate you. We do not request Gmail, Drive, contacts or your Google password. Google sign-in information is not sold or used for advertising targeting. You can instead use email/password sign-in.

Disconnecting Google and deleting account data

You may remove Medusa’s connection in your Google Account connections settings. Disconnecting Google does not automatically delete your Medusa account, existing orders or information already provided to us. To request access, correction or deletion, email the contact above using the account email. We may verify your identity before acting. Requests are handled under applicable Bahrain data-protection requirements; records that must lawfully be retained may be excluded, with an explanation.

Orders and service providers

Order and recipient information is used to prepare gifts, coordinate delivery, provide customer service and maintain order records. Necessary information may be shared with delivery personnel and providers of hosting, email, website and payment services. Payment information is processed through the method selected at checkout. Never send card details, passwords or security codes by email or chat. Services such as Google and hosting may process information outside Bahrain under their own policies and applicable safeguards.

Cookies and retention

Essential cookies maintain login, cart and checkout sessions. Blocking them can prevent these features from working. Account information is retained while needed for your account. Order records may be kept for fulfillment, tax/accounting, disputes and fraud prevention. Data is reviewed or deleted when no longer needed, subject to applicable retention requirements and verified deletion requests. This notice does not set a shorter deadline for rights provided by law.

Your choices and updates

You can manage account details and saved addresses in My Account, choose guest checkout, decline Google sign-in, and contact us about your data. You may raise concerns with Bahrain’s competent data-protection authority. The current notice will be published on this page when our services or data practices change.
